The Oceania Judo Union (OJU) is pleased to confirm that Mandurah, Western Australia will host the 2026 Mandurah Oceania Open and Cup events at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

Competition Schedule

  • Saturday, 2 May 2026 – 2026 Senior Mandurah Oceania Open
  • Sunday, 3 May 2026 – 2026 Cadet & Junior Oceania Cups

Scheduled to take place just two weeks after the 2026 Oceania Continental Championships in Melbourne (18–19 April 2026), the Mandurah weekend provides an ideal follow-on international competition opportunity for athletes seeking to build momentum and maximise their competition exposure within a single travel period.

In 2025, the event attracted around 170 athletes from 14 countries, with competitors travelling from Australia, Hong Kong China, New Zealand, Canada, the Dominican Republic, the United States of America, Argentina, Malta, Macau China, Kuwait, Samoa, and New Caledonia, alongside other visiting nations across the region.

As an international event offering valuable world ranking points, the Mandurah Oceania Open and Cups play an important role in supporting athlete progression, strengthening competition pathways, and bringing high-quality international judo opportunities to Oceania.
